Artist statement:

I position my daily watercolours between the Illawarra, resonant with Dharawal and settlement history, and my archaeological work in Cyprus. The Mediterranean artefacts on my table are little facsimiles of objects from tombs or ancient levels of destruction, poised against the furious bush of January, about to catch fire.
